Plans for 2021

Since our AGM in December 2020 we have been organising an exciting programme for 2021, including some dry events for the winter and lockdown months. This section will expand as our plans grow.

Theory training for Sports Diver and Dive Leader qualifications commenced in January. Specific dates and invite details have been published on the club calendar and recordings of completed Zoom meetings are accessible via the private club members page. Pool training and Try Dives will commence when swimming pools reopen.

Local Diving

Weekend and weekday dives are now being organised given the reduced Covid restrictions. Dives are communicated to members through the Dive Planning WhatsApp group.

Emergency First Response (CPR) Training

We organised first aid training for club members during spring. This covered Scene Assessment, Barrier Use, Primary Assessment, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Serious Bleeding Management, Shock Management, Spinal Injury Management, Conscious and Unconscious Choking Management.

Dive trips and Expeditions

We are planning a number of exciting multi-day trips and expeditions for club members. Current planned trips are detailed on the Club Expeditions page.
